From the price book to a signature
The service address ZIP is looked up and the rate comes back named — 8.25% · Salt Lake County — and stays editable. A quote does not quietly use head office's rate for a job two counties away.
Your services and parts catalogue, the SunService Labor Guide, or typed by hand. A Labor Guide operation arrives with its book hours as the quantity and your shop rate as the price.
A drawn signature on the device at the kitchen table, or a rep-confirmed verbal acceptance recorded as exactly that. Send it instead and the homeowner types their name as their signature.
On a shared quote each line gets Include or Skip, with a reason. What comes back is not just a yes or a no — it is which parts, and why the rest were not.
A quote carrying a service plan cannot be approved until the homeowner has actually acknowledged declining it. It stops the plan being the thing everybody forgot to ask about.
Turning an approved quote into a repair order snapshots the price you agreed onto the job, so it cannot reset to the catalogue later. Declined lines travel with it, so the follow-up conversation still has its history.
